Conceptualized in collaboration with Dominasian Magazine, this series of images are an exploration of the role of clothing in reinforcing gender-roles in South Asian culture. Shot for the Blueprint 001 Issue, these images are accompanied by an account of the models as they learn for the first time, to drape a sari on themselves as well as their experiences wearing something so stereotypically "feminine"

Aimed at highlighting how clothes are a means of performing and reaffirming ones identity, these images aim to subvert the conventional expectations of masculinity and feminity in a culture with relatively rigid and defined gender norms.
